Online Donations for Papal Protest Announced

The Papal Protest organised by numerous Protestant organisations has announced an online facility to accept donations to support the various events  they plan during the Popes UK visit.

General Papal Visit Fund

This general fund is more particularly to do with the Gospel witnesses at the various events (including the protest above) and the need to print 10,000's of tracts, build websites, make placards and banners, etc.

Any surplus donations prior to the Papal visit will be used to support the National Advertising Campaign (see above) and any surplus funds after that will be used to support the very important work of Christian Watch.

Online Donation

Contribute by Credit/Debit Card via Christian Watch (all funds less PayPal processing fees will be used towards the Papal Visit protests and witnesses and any excess funds left after the Papal visit will be used in the general work of Christian Watch).

To Donate to the National Advertising Campaign

In co-operation with other Protestant organisations, the Protestant Truth Society hopes to publish the recent Joint Papal Protest against the 2010 visit to the United Kingdom of the Pope as an advertisement in at least one national daily newspaper on Thursday 16th September - the day Pope Benedict XVI is scheduled to arrive in Britain. The Daily Telegraph and The Times have agreed in principle to carry such an advert.

Any donations towards the cost of the newspaper advertisements and that of the London protest on Friday 17th will be gratefully received, and should be sent to:
