If you attended any of the events and have any photos or videos please email them to me at
I have not
named anybody as I dont know everyone in the photos and dont want to upset anyone by leaving their names
out!
NOTE: Please remember I did not go to these
events to make a video. I went to help organise and take part, so when I have remembered to record soemthing
even then I have often not done well. So please bear with it - this was simply to have a record of the events
as we could not find anyone to make a video for us.

What Now - (Text
below)
Whilst many felt God’s help and guidance before, during and after the Papal visit events, we
must not look at this visit as anything other than a judgment of Almighty God. We cannot afford to be
self-congratulatory in any way because of the providence's and blessings we saw and
witnessed.Rather we should treat this Papal visit as a national
warning from the Lord and our need to change our ways and repent of our lukewarm, apathetic and complacent faith
and lives. I can see no other reason to account for the shameful situation that only one hundred of the Lord’s
people took part in the Protests and gospel witness events, in a country of sixty million
souls? This accounts for 0.001666% (less than two thousandth of one
percent) of the population of which 72% claimed to be Christian in census of
2001!
I trust this visit has revealed just how far we have plunged into darkness
as a nation and will stir people up to prayerful action. The Pope has now gone, but
the eternal Word is still here. So, I trust the
co-operation between the various Protestant Societies and Groups and the fellowship with other brethren at the
events will invigorate and inspire us all to a new zeal for God’s glory.
What we need now is Pastors who are not afraid to proclaim the whole
council of God and lead from the front. Likewise, we need faithful believers furnished with their spiritual
armour and ready to go to the uttermost parts of the world (whether or not welcomed or invited) teaching and
preaching of the unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ.
There are untold opportunities for the proclamation of the Gospel
inevery community - on the street, in our
homes, schools, universities, prisons, old people’s homes, in our work - if we will only ‘go’ in faith. So,
let us separate our hearts and minds from the attractions of this world and seek only Christ and His glory.
Please don’t hesitate to call me if you’d like help in proclaiming the Word of God in your area – even if you
are alone.
Some IMMEDIATE Points of
Action
As I was so involved organising, participating and travelling between
events I only saw two very short clips of the Popes visit on TV screens in a Motorway Service Area.
However, I have had many comments from others about 1) how much
coverage their was of the Papal visit and 2) how biased and unbalanced the coverage was.
If you feel this is true please write to the media involved but
particularly the BBC as our Public Service Broadcaster.
All the details of where and how to complain
are listed here.
Please make sure you are concise and factually correct.
Make one complaint at a time - don't complain of bias and too much
coverage together, for example. Make two separate complaints.
Be specific if possible - just saying there was too much coverage
will have little effect. Point out how what you normally watched was interfered with, for example, or
how other important news stories where not featured because everything was about the Pope. If you
watched a programme and there was no Protestant voice for example - name the programme. Be specific,
name the programmes, those involved etc - most of this kind of information is available on the BBC
website
Insist on a reply and make sure you get a satisfactory answer.
Don't just accept what they tell you. If you don't get a satisfactory explanation the above link has
details of how and to whom to escalate the complaint.
IMPORTANT: If applicable please consider this when
complaining. As a Public Service broadcaster shouldn't the BBC have provided more coverage on
the historical significance of the Pope visiting a constitutionally Protestant Country like ours? A
country which, of all the worlds Sovereign Countries and Heads of States, only excludes the Pope and
his followers from the throne and having any jurisdiction in our country.
Surely this is worthy of more coverage than the mainly homosexual
and humanist 'Protest the Pope' groups and campaigners whose complaints had no real long
term constitutional significance at all. There can be only two reason for this 1) ignorance and
2) willful bias, and neither are acceptable excuses from a Publicly
funded Broadcaster..
